Adwaiy and the Horror of Hindi Class

Date: September 23 2025

If English poems are Adwaiy’s villain origin story, then Hindi (thanks to CBSE) is the final boss level.

Thanks to CBSE, the language turned into pure suffering. The chapters drag on like endless soap operas, the grammar rules feel like traps, and the essays? Straight-up punishment. Every time he had to write “Paryavaran ki Mahatva,” it was like watching his life bar go down in slow motion.

And don’t even get him started on the questions:

  • “Kavi ke man mein kis bhavna ka prakatikaran hua hai?”

  • “Gaay ka aantarik sandesh kya hai?”
According to Adwaiy, the only correct answer is: “There is no deeper meaning. It’s just… a cow.”

CBSE basically ruined Hindi for him. The word “Hindi” doesn’t make him think of movies, songs, or casual conversation; it triggers memories of exams, worksheets, and teachers asking for antarbhav when all he wanted was peace.

That’s why he even rejects Hindi outside the classroom. I watch anime in Hindi sometimes (and it’s actually good — the voice acting has emotion, the jokes land). But Adwaiy? He dismisses it instantly. For him, Hindi = CBSE trauma. He’d rather hear English dubs that sound like an AI struggling to act shocked: “Oh… no… the… world… is… ending.”

The funniest part? I was actually good at Hindi. In the 4th grade, I scored 99. My teacher was so proud… until my mom told her I was switching to French in grade 5. The teacher looked at her like she had committed a crime. That makes us poles apart.

Meanwhile, Adwaiy also picked French, thinking it would be his great escape. But French betrayed him, too. At first, he enjoyed saying "bonjour" and "merci." Then came the grammar, conjugations, and endless memorisation. Today, he’s forgotten most of it.

The only Hindi he actually uses now? Slurs.

The only French he remembers? Oui Oui Baguette

So yeah, Adwaiy vs. Hindi isn’t just dislike, it’s war. CBSE turned a language into his greatest enemy, and he’s never forgiving it. If you want to see peak Adwaiy rage, don’t give him math, don’t give him science, just hand him a Hindi poem and ask for the antarbhav. The explosion will be immediate.

  1. Ok I have been reading these for some time and the vocabulary and literature used in here is simply impeccable. It really shows the depth of your emotions towards him.
You speak with such passion where we can almost feel the warmth of your friendship with him grow as the days go by. Let this fire burn on. Don't let it be extinguished.
I will always be your number one fan.

  2. Life can be difficult, especially if you're a disciple of the exhausting study for the great language of Hindi.
Being one for so long would make anyone tire of it and it makes a crapton of sense, pardon my language, that Mr. Ajay would despise it. A refreshing slice of life piece from one of, in my opinion, the best bloggers to grace this planet.
Another beautiful piece of work from Mr. Diaz and once again I would have to say that I look forward to seeing more from you.
